The Indian Hills Community College athletic department has recognized freshman Clayton Grainger (men’s cross country) and sophomore Raegan Moeller (volleyball) as September’s student-athletes of the month. This accolade honors student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding work in their respective sport and in the classroom.
Moeller has been a key part of the Warrior volleyball team’s success this fall. She has started 16 of the Warrior’s volleyball matches, helping them to an 18-8 overall record as of October 1st. In the 19 matches she has appeared in, Moeller has accumulated 41 kills and 41 blocks. The sophomore middle hitter from Ankeny, Iowa also carries a 4.0 GPA through her first three terms at Indian Hills. “Raegan is one of the most dedicated athletes I have ever had. She puts in tons of extra effort every day, is an incredible student and continues to see her efforts pay off, exclaimed head volleyball coach, Lyndsey Michel.” Moeller and her teammates will have a busy month of October, playing on the road in 10 of their 14 games.
