Fairfield, Iowa -- In its second head-to-head matchup of the spring the Indian Hills sports shooting team tied Southeastern CC at the Southeast Iowa Skeet Club on Saturday.

Each team had a score of 229 out of a possible 250 targets.

Leading the way for Indian Hills were Case Scieszinski and Ryan Romanco, who each scored 47 out of 50, tying for second place overall behind SCC's Kyle Grooms.  Tristan Schaefer hit 46 targets and tied for third for Indian Hills.

Indian Hills coach Jake Stalzer said it was a difficult day to shoot "with the windy conditions making the birds tricky at times.  But the team shot well considering the conditions."

The IHCC team now has a couple of weeks to prepare for its final competition of the spring season -- the SCTP Iowa College Conference State Championship at the Stockdale Gun Club in Ackley on Saturday, Apr. 29.
