Ottumwa -- Indian Hills picked up a region win on Wednesday, dispatching visiting Marshalltown in straight sets.  The Warriors had to work hard to defeat the Tigers, winning 25-20, 27-25, 25-21, to improve their season record to 12-7.  The loss snapped MCC's 10-match win streak.

Mariana Rodrigues led the Warriors in kills with 17 and was second in digs with 14.  Amanda Toyota led the defense with 16 digs and also served up three aces.  Cecilia Campos helped the attack with 15 kills.  Yasmin Assis provided 34 assists in her setter's role.

Indian Hills is idle until hosting No. 2 ranked Iowa Western on Oct. 3 at the Hellyer Center.
