CLARK LANDS ICCAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK HONORS

Centerville, IA – Sophomore Cale Clark (Marionville, MO/Marionville) of the Indian Hills Baseball team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Clark powered the Warrior offense to three conference wins, all on the road last week. For his efforts, Clark becomes the third member of the Indian Hills Baseball team to earn ICCAC Offensive Player of the Week in as many weeks.

Clark tallied seven hits on the week, including four extra base knocks while boasting a .636 batting average to lead the attack. The sophomore added 10 RBI and four runs scored to his stellar week.

In a 12-6 win at Marshalltown on Thursday, Clark went 3-4 with a career-high six RBI. Clark sparked the Warriors with a home run. In total the sophomore reached base five times after adding a pair of walks.

Clark followed up on Sunday afternoon with a 4-4 performance at Southwestern Community College as the Warriors swept the Spartans. In the opener, Clark went 4-4 with another home run, two doubles, and four RBI.

On the year, Clark sports a .327 batting average and a team-high 29 RBI.

The Warriors return to action April 10 for a single ICCAC contest at Ellsworth Community College. First Pitch is set for 2:00 PM from Iowa Falls, IA.
