NINE NAMED TO ALL-REGION 11 BASEBALL SQUAD

Centerville, IA – Nine members of the Indian Hills Baseball team were selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Baseball All-Region 11 team, announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) on Wednesday.

The Warriors landed four first-team honorees in Cale Clark (Marionville, MO/Marionville), Cole Huebner (Edmonton, Alberta/Strathcona), AJ Marchetti (Wheeling, IL/Wheeling), and Kevin Ramos (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Springfield Commonwealth) while sophomores Aiden Ennis (Scarborough, Ontario/Mary Ward Catholic), Tijmen Nagel (Amsterdam, Netherlands/Roc Amsterdam), Zachari Pace (Colorado Springs, CO/Vista Ridge), and Owen Corbett (Oswego, IL/Oswego) were joined by freshman Jose Lopez (Las Tablas, Panama/Springfield Commonwealth) on the second-team.

In addition to the All-Region honorees, Huebner was tapped as the ICCAC Co-Pitcher of the Year while Marchetti was named the ICCAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Clark powered the Indian Hills offense in his lone season with the Warriors. The sophomore started all 52 games as the team's primary right fielder, making just one error in 85 total chances for a .988 fielding percentage. Clark ranked second on the team with a .337 batting average while driving in a team-high 50 runs. Clark delivered a team-high 19 doubles and 25 extra base hits, including five home runs. 

Huebner delivered a breakthrough performance during his sophomore campaign in 2025, climbing the Indian Hills record books along the way. The sophomore worked his way to a 6-5 record in 63.1 innings pitched, leading the team with 81 strikeouts. Huebner posted a career-best 3.98 earned run average to go along with a 1.28 WHIP.

Marchetti provided an offensive spark for the Warriors as well at the plate, boasting a .347 batting average to go along with five home runs and 33 RBI on the year, the only player in the nation with at least 18 runners caught stealing, five home runs, and a .345 average in the NJCAA.

Ramos made an immediate impact for the Warriors in his rookie season in Centerville. The freshman connected on a team-high nine home runs on the year while ranking third on the team with a .312 batting average. Ramos drove in 41 runs on the season while tallying 21 extra base hits at the plate.

Ennis proved to be a key member out of the Warrior bullpen, appearing in a team-high 19 games while posting a 3-1 record and a team-best four saves. The sophomore struck out 33 batters in 32.2 innings of work. Ennis opened the season with both ICCAC and NJCAA Pitcher of the Week honors.

Nagel served as a versatile member of the Warriors in his sophomore season, appearing in 41 games at multiple positions. Nagel batted .290 on the year with 12 extra base hits and 23 RBI. The sophomore posted a .980 fielding percentage while turning 16 double plays in the infield.

In his final season with the Warriors, Pace guided the Warriors in the outfield. The sophomore .297 on the season while ranking second on the team with 42 RBI. Pace recorded 17 extra base hits on the year, including four home runs. Pace's speed on the basepath resulted in a team-high 17 stolen bases for the Warriors.

Corbett bolstered the Indian Hills bullpen, boasting a team-best 2.00 earned run average in 15 appearances. The sophomore posted a 1-0 record with a pair of saves while striking out 25 batters in 18.0 innings of work. Corbett was tapped as the ICCAC DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 24-30.

Lopez made an immediate impact in his freshman campaign for the Warriors both offensively and defensively. In 45 games played, Lopez batted .297 at the plate with 12 extra base hits and 23 RBI. The freshman posted a .993 fielding percentage, splitting time between first base and catcher, throwing out nine runners on the year.

 

The Warriors reached the NJCAA Region 11 Championship series and finished the 2025 campaign with a 27-25 record.
