The Indian Hills Athletic Department announced Dru Sebastian as the next head coach of the Indian Hills Baseball program on July 23, 2025. Sebastian becomes the 10th head coach in program history.

"We are excited to announce the hiring of Dru Sebastian to lead the Indian Hills Baseball program," stated Indian Hills Athletic Director, Kelsi Weeks. "Throughout the search process, Dru's passion for junior college baseball, energy, and vision for the program stood out in every conversation. He's a young, proven leader who brings a competitive edge and deep commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. We are confident in the impact he will have on our student-athletes and the Warrior baseball program."

Sebastian comes to Centerville after three seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State College, including the last two as the program's head coach. Sebastian led the Mountaineers to the 2025 JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, CO, the program's first trip to the national tournament in 25 seasons. Eastern Oklahoma captured the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Baseball South Central District Championship where Sebastian was tapped as the South Central District Coach of the Year. Sebastian guided the Mountaineers to an 18-win improvement from year one to year two as head coach.

"I'd like to thank Indian Hills Athletic Director Kelsi Weeks and President Dr. Matt Thompson for this opportunity," stated Sebastian. "It's an honor and a privilege to lead this historic program. I am excited to build upon the legacy of the coaches who have come before me."

Along with the program's success in 2025, Sebastian was a part of the coaching staff at Eastern Oklahoma that reached the NJCAA DI Baseball Region 2 Championship in 2023 where the pitching staff earned three NJCAA All-Region 2 selections after boasting three of the four lowest earned run averages in the league.

Sebastian brings nearly a decade of coaching experience to the historic Indian Hills Baseball program, including eight in the junior college ranks. Sebastian was a part of the first-ever baseball program at Ivy Tech Community College (IN), serving as the pitching coach before taking on the same duties at Dawson Community College (MT). Sebastian spent three seasons as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at New Mexico Military Institute before taking over at Eastern Oklahoma.

At New Mexico Military, Sebastian helped guide the program to its three winningest seasons in the last 60 years, posting the school's second most wins in a season in 2022. The Broncos led the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) in team earned run average in 2022.

Sebastian earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Owens Community College (OH) where he spent two seasons as a member of the baseball program before earning a Bachelor of Science in General Studies degree from Indiana University. Sebastian was a three-year letterwinner at Purdue University Fort Wayne, formerly known as Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Sebastian is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
