Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Miles Bollinger (Eagan, MN/Cretin-Derham Hall) of the No. 4 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Golf squad has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Bollinger collected his second top-10 finish in as many events this season after leading the Warriors to a third-place team finish at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Des Moines, IA last week. The freshman placed eighth overall in the primarily NCAA DI event at Glen Oaks Country Club.
Bollinger fired a 1-over, 214 after carding round scores of 70-71-73-214 to pace the nationally ranked Warriors. The freshman tallied 10 total birdies over the course of the three rounds for his lowest tournament of the season.
Bollinger and the Warriors return to action October 5-7 at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS.
