The Warriors regrouped entering the second half and used an impressive offensive performance to run away from the Trojans. Powered by a barrage of three-point shots from Watson, the Warriors went on a 15-2 run to put the game out of reach. Watson poured in 25 of his points in the second half alone thanks to seven three-point shots through the final 20 minutes of play.
