BUSHNELL/GOLFWEEK NJCAA COACHES POLL - MARCH 6

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Men's Golf squad will head into the spring season as the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Friday. The Warriors topped the Bushnell/Golfweek National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Coaches Poll with 81 points.

The Warriors tallied four of the nine first-place votes in the initial poll of the spring season. Odessa College (TX) checked in at No. 2 in the poll followed by McLennan Community College (TX), Midland College (TX), and Hutchinson Community College.

Head coach Michael Wetrich and the Warriors are coming off an impressive fall campaign that saw the Warriors capture two team titles.

The Warriors, seven-time NJCAA National Champions, were also ranked No. 1 in the nation in the fall Scoreboard Powered by Clippd NJCAA Rankings.

Indian Hills is back in action to tee off its spring season March 23-24 in Enid, OK with the Oakwood Intercollegiate at Oakwood Country Club.
