St. Joseph, MO – The Indian Hills Men's and Women's Cross Country squads return to action this weekend with the Missouri Western Griffon Invite, hosted by Missouri Western State University.

WOMEN'S NOTES

  • The Warriors return to action ranked No. 12 in the latest USTFCCCA National Rankings, up two spots from the previous poll.
  • Cindy Rose is coming off an impressive showing at the Bradley Intercollegiate where the freshman was tapped as the ICCAC Athlete of the Week.
  • The Warriors have seen two different individuals - Rose and Rebecca Duran lead the team in their first two meets of the year.

MEN'S NOTES

  • Sophomore Bailey Taig is coming off back-to-back impressive performances, leading the Warriors at both the Platte River Rumble Gold and the Bradley Intercollegiate.
  • The Warriors are making their first all-time appearance at the MWSU Cross Country Course in St. Joseph, MO.
  • Two former Warrior alums, Keelan Aita and Logan Soedt, are now members of the Griffon Men's Cross Country team

WHAT'S NEXT

The Warriors are set to host the annual Indian Hills Invitational at Cedar Creek Golf Course in Ottumwa on October 10. The event will serve as the final home race for three sophomores - Tiffani Koonce, Shmyhia Morris, and Bailey Taig.
