Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Holly Boeke (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa) of the Indian Hills Shotgun Sports squad has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference ((CCAC) Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Boeke led the Warriors to victory at their ICCAC East Division Shoot against Southeastern Community College on Saturday at the Izaak Walton League in Ottumwa. Boeke placed first overall in the ladies division with 88 trap targets.

Boeke put together a solid performance for the Warriors, firing round scores of 23-21-23-21 to finish as the top female gun.

As a team, the Warriors outlasted the Blackhawks 471-455 to remain unbeaten at 3-0 in trap duals on the year.

Next up for the Warriors is a trip to William Penn University to take on the Statesmen September 27 at the Mahaska County Izaak Walton League.
