The Indian Hills Shotgun Sports squad will head to The National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, TX for the fourth consecutive year to compete in the 2026 ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championships. 11 members of the squad are set to compete across hundreds of teams and thousands of individual shooters for a chance at team and individual honors.
Three members of this year's squad - Seth Bauman (Grinnell, IA/Grinnell), Jason Stursma (Harvey, IA/Pella), and Isaac Weir (Albia, IA/Albia) are making their second consecutive trip to the national shoot after leading the squad to a fifth-place finish at last year's championship.
Indian Hills, who are competing for the first time this spring, will take part in four disciplines - trap, skeet, super sporting, and sporting clays. Indian Hills is coming off a fourth-place finish at the ICCAC/SCTP State Championships back in October.
In addition, five members of the squad were recognized for their academic achievements in the classroom by the ACUI ahead of the 2026 national championship - Bauman, Holly Boeke (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa), Hunter Nelson (Fredericksburg, IA/Sumner-Fredericksburg), Greyson Siegfried (Burlington, IA/Burlington), and Megan Vos (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa).
