FIVE SHOTGUN SPORTS MEMBERS EARN ACADEMIC HONORS

Ottumwa, IA – Five members of the Indian Hills Shotgun Sports squad have earned prestigious academic honors, announced by the ACUI Clay Targets Collegiate Championships ahead of the 2026 national championships.

Seth Bauman (Grinnell, IA/Grinnell), Holly Boeke (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa), Hunter Nelson (Fredericksburg, IA/Sumner-Fredericksburg), Greyson Siegfried (Burlington, IA/Burlington), and Megan Vos (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa) were named to the 2026 Academic Award team for their work in the classroom.

Bauman, a sophomore, earned Academic honors as a Cybersecurity and Systems Administration major. Boeke is a Radiologic Technology major at Indian Hills. Nelson is a member of the Aviation Professional pilot program in his freshman year. Siegfried is a Biology major in his freshman year at Indian Hills. Vos, a freshman at Indian Hills, is a Radiologic Technology major.

Each of the five individuals were also named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Academic All-Region squad following the fall term.

The Warriors are set to compete at the ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championships Wednesday-Friday at The National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, TX.
