Centerville, IA – Fresh off winning the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship, the Indian Hills Men's Wrestling squad added another layer of recognition to its remarkable season. 12 individuals have been named National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans for their work in the classroom.

The Warriors tied for the most individual honors across the prestigious academic team. A total of 184 student-athletes representing 39 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.

The 12 individual honors for the Warriors are the most in school history, surpassing the previous record of 11 set in 2025. Indian Hills captured the 2026 NJCAA National Championship, setting a new national record for team points in a single tournament with 201.5.

The Warriors placed three sophomores on the NWCA Scholar All-American team - Mohamed Tarek Abdelhady (Alexandria, Egypt/Sports Military School), Shehabeldin Mohamed (Alexandria, Egypt/Smouha Military), and Gavyn Whitehead (New Castle, IN/New Castle). The three sophomores also earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors as freshman.

In addition to the sophomores, nine freshman were named to the NWCA Scholar All-American team - Jahkari Clark (Des Moines, IA/West Des Moines Valley), Johnathan Clohecy Sumterville, FL/The Villages), Charlie Dykes (Kingsville, MO/Lee's Summit North), Jonas Floyd (Altoona, IA/Southeast Polk), Aiden Han (Aliso Viejo, CA/Capistrano Valley), Jeremiah Johnson (Cary, NC/Cary), Eli Laine Roberts (Quincy, IL/Quincy), Ryan Singleton (Chicago, IL/Chicago Military at Bronzeville), and Olli Webb (Tunnel Hill, GA/Southeast Whitfield).

Indian Hills has now earned 48 all-time NWCA Scholar All-Americans in six seasons as a program.
