NJCAA DI WOMEN'S SOCCER POLL - WEEK 4
Ottumwa, IA – With another victory added to the nation's longest winning streak, the Indian Hills Women's Soccer team climbed to No. 8 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Soccer Poll, released Monday afternoon.
With an eight-match win streak intact, the Warriors cracked the top-10 for the first time since the 2021 season as Indian Hills climbed to No. 8 after receiving 91 votes from the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Committee. Indian Hills jumped four spots from last week's spot at No. 12.
The Warriors boast the most wins in the nation with an 8-1-0 overall record after dropping Lincoln Trail College (IL) 7-0 at home on Saturday afternoon. Indian Hills' winning streak is currently the third-longest run in program history.
With its impressive run, the Warriors jumped ahead of Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) foe Iowa Western Community College who checked in at No. 10 in the latest national rankings. Daytona State College (FL) held on to the top spot in the pole followed by Arizona Western College, Navarro College (TX), Salt Lake Community College (UT), and Seminole State College (OK).
Indian Hills and Iowa Western are set for a top-10 matchup October 1 in Council Bluffs, IA. Action from the Wiebe Complex gets underway at 3:00 PM.
