Ottumwa, IA – The No. 7 nationally ranked Indian Hills Women's Soccer squad swept the weekly Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week awards behind a pair of standout performances. Sophomore Arnicka Louis (Castries, Saint Lucia/Sir Ira Simmons) and freshman Annabelle Combes (Valence, France/Tezenas du Montcel) were honored for their efforts.
Louis lands her third ICCAC DI Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honor of the year while Combes was tapped as the ICCAC DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the fourth time this season. The duo helped lead the Warriors to a pair of shutouts last week.
Indian Hills blanked Iowa Central Community College 4-0 on Tuesday behind a hat trick from Louis and a complete game shutout from Combes. Louis followed up with a goal in a 3-0 win over Northeast Community College on Saturday while Combes stopped five shots for the win.
Louis has now scored six goals in the team's last three matches, all wins for the Warriors. The sophomore has climbed the all-time record books at Indian Hills and now ranks fourth all-time with 27 career goals. Louis also ranks fourth all-time at Indian Hills with 70 career points. Louis ranks in the top-10 in the nation in both goals and points on the year.
Combes anchored the defense in both shutouts last week and has played a part in nine overall shutouts on the season. The sophomore picked up her national-leading 11th victory of the year in Saturday's win over Northeast while lowering her season goals against average to 0.59 this season.
Indian Hills climbed to its highest ranking of the year on Tuesday, jumping to No. 7 in the latest national poll.

The Warriors return to action Wednesday, October 15 with a home date vs. North Iowa Area Community College at 1:00 PM. Wednesday's contest serves as Sophomore Day for the Warriors where 12 individuals will be recognized prior to the start of the match.
