ZANDERS, BIEN-AIME EARN ALL-REGION HONORS AT INDOOR MEET

Storm Lake, IA – The No. 9 nationally ranked Indian Hills Women's Track & Field squad placed fourth overall at the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 11 Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Lambert Recreation Center. The Warriors tallied 53.0 team points.

The Warriors produced two NJCAA All-Region 11 performances as sophomore Alexa Zanders (Waterloo, IA/Waterloo West) placed second overall in the women's 600-meter run with a time of 1:38.12, her second-best career performance in the event. Freshman Nathanaelle Bien-Aime (Miami, FL/North Miami) placed second overall in the women's 200-meter dash with a new personal-best time of 25.84.

Freshman Unique Redmond (Niceville, FL/Niceville) posted a pair of top-five individual performances for the Warriors with two personal-best marks. Redmond took fourth overall in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.57 meters, the 11th best mark in the NJCAA this year. Redmond added a fifth-place showing in the long jump with a mark of 5.51 meters, currently the 20th best mark in the nation this season. Redmond's mark in the long jump improved on the second-best mark in school history.

In total, the Warriors saw six personal-best marks at the event.

Indian Hills will now head to the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Topeka, KS March 6-7.
