MEN'S NOTES

The Warriors will look to make a statement at the Texas Relays for the second consecutive year.

  • The 4x800m squad captured the 2025 Texas Relays Championship last year, outlasting BYU, Clemson, and TCU. Sophomores Jaquan Coke, Raynier Galvez, and Kemarrio Bygrave return to Texas after leading the group last year with the fourth-fastest time in NJCAA history (7:22.58).
  • The Warrior men will compete in the 4x800m relay on Saturday and the 4x100m relay on Friday, in addition to the Open 800m and Open 100m events.
  • Sophomore Joseph Cannon, this week's ICCAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week, is coming off a personal-best performance at the Central Invitational with a mark of 10.29 in the 100m dash, the fifth-fastest time in school history.
  • Freshman Yverson Alexandre will suit up at the Bobcat Invitational after posting the third-best 110mH mark in school history last week with a time of 14.21.

WOMEN'S NOTES

Head coach Brent Ewing's squad will send a number of female athletes to compete at both the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational.

  • The Warriors are coming off a strong showing at the Central Invitational where the program set six all-time top-10 marks.
  • Indian Hills will compete in the women's 4x800m relay and the Open 800m run at the Texas Relays.
  • Sophomore Tiffani Koonce, a five-time school record holder, will look to add another top mark in the women's 3000m Steeple at the Bobcat Invitational.
  • Freshman Unique Redmond will take on both the high jump and long jump at Texas State after posting a pair of top-10 all-time Indian Hills marks in the outdoor season opener last week.
