Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills men's soccer team has been named an All-Academic Team by the National Junior College Athletic Association, earning the honor with the second-highest team grade point average, 3.32, of any men's soccer squad in the country. The Warriors just missed being the Academic Team of the Year, which goes to the school with the best team GPA in the nation.

The men's soccer team was among five IHCC teams named All-Academic Teams. Indian Hills also had six individuals recognized by the NJCAA as Athletes of Distinction for having GPAs of 3.6 or higher.
