Indian Hills will conclude its regular season with its third match vs. conference foe Iowa Western on Friday.
- The Warriors enter the matchup with an 8-3-4 overall record and ranked No. 10 in the final NJCAA regular season rankings.
- Indian Hills is coming off a 3-1 victory on the road at Southwestern Illinois on October 24.
- The Warriors have allowed one goal or less in 11 of the team's 15 matches on the year.
- Indian Hills' 1.07 goals against average, which is currently third-lowest in program history, ranks 17th in the nation.
- Freshman Enzo de Almeida leads the Warriors with 18 points (8g, 2a) on the year while sophomore Diego Lazaro ranks second with 15 points (5g, 5a).
- Lazaro currently ranks fifth all-time in school history with 15 career assists and ninth all-time with 39 career points.
- Freshman keeper Matteo Malaguti has anchored the defense with five wins and a 0.88 goals against average.
- Indian Hills will be looking for its third regular season ICCAC title (2023, 2017).
SCOUTING THE REIVERS
Iowa Western enters Friday's affair with a 10-1-5 overall record and ranked No. 2 in the final regular season national rankings.
- Indian Hills defeated the Reivers 1-0 in Ottumwa on October 15 before Iowa Western secured an 8-0 win over Lincoln Trail College on October 22.
- The Reivers were ranked No. 1 all season long before dropping to No. 2 following their loss to the Warriors.
- Iowa Western is the defending NJCAA DI Men's Soccer National Champions.
- Sophomor Angel Lopez leads the offense with 31 points (12g, 7a) on the year while freshman Guesly Alexandre ranks second with 21 points (6a, 9a).
- Keepers Fausto Delgado and Oliver Hutchins have split time in net throughout the year for the Reivers.
- The Reivers rank eighth in the nation with 58 goals on the year while team's 0.81 goals against average ranks sixth nationally.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
With the Warriors in the driver seat of the regular season standings, a win or a tie for Indian Hills will give the Warriors the outright regular season title and the right to host the upcoming NJCAA Midwest District Tournament November 6-8. The Warriors currently hold a 1-0 scoring advantage over the Reivers.
