NJCAA DI MEN'S SOCCER ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS
Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Fabian Arroyo (Ciudad Quesada, Costa Rica/Liceo San Carlos) of the Indian Hills Men's Soccer squad has been selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Soccer First-Team All-American team, announced Tuesday.
Arroyo helped guide the Warriors to the program's first-ever national championship in 2025. Arroyo becomes just the fourth individual in program history to earn NJCAA First-Team All-American honors, and the 10th NJCAA All-American in program history.
The Warriors, who have made consecutive trips to the NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Semifinals, including the 2025 national title, have now earned at least one All-American honor in each of the last four seasons.
Arroyo, who also earned NJCAA DI Men's Soccer All-Region First-Team honors as a sophomore in 2025, served as a key contributor from the midfield during the team's run to the national championship. Arroyo appeared in all 22 contests on the year, making 19 starts for the program. The sophomore tallied 12 points on the year with three goals and six assists, all career-high totals. Arroyo provided the eventual game-winning assist in the national semifinal match, a 2-1 win over Cowley College (KS). For his efforts, Arroyo was also tapped as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week earlier in the season.
Arroyo capped his two-year career at Indian Hills with 18 career points (5g, 8a) while appearing in 36 career games, including 31 starts in the midifeld.
