Ottumwa, IA – Former NCAA All-American Jackson Marseille has been named Assistant Coach of the Indian Hills Men's and Women's Track & Field programs.
"I'm excited to join the program and work alongside our student-athletes and coaching staff," stated Marseille. "My goal is to help our student-athletes reach their goals and discover what they're capable of both on and off the track. I look forward to bringing new energy to an already dominant program while continuing the tradition of excellence that has been established here. I'm also excited for the opportunity to help bring the campus and community together through the success and positive impact of our team."
Marseille joins the storied Indian Hills Track & Field program after a decorated collegiate career. Marseille began his collegiate career at the University of South Carolina where the standout high jumper earned NCAA All-American honors and was a two-time Southeastern Conference (SEC) Bronze Medalist. Marseille was elected as team captain while also earning All-SEC Freshman Team and SEC Honor Roll honors.
Following his time at South Carolina, Marseille completed his collegiate career at the University of Illinois where he ranked in the top-five in school history in both the indoor and outdoor high jump events.
A high school All-American at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Miami, FL, Marseille was the No. 1 ranked high jumper in the nation.
Following his collegiate career, Marseille spent time as a private track & field trainer at CoachUp in Dallas, TX and served as a volunteer assistant at Illinois, guiding 13 athletes to NCAA All-American honors during the 2024-25 campaign.
Marseille received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Marseille has also received a Level I Coaching Certification from USA Track & Field (USATF).
