NJCAA DI WOMEN'S GOLF RANKINGS - WEEK 2

Ottumwa, IA – Following its most dominant performance on the course as a program, the Indian Hills Women's Golf squad cracked the top-10 of the national rankings on Wednesday, checking in at No. 9 in the latest Scoreboard Powered by Clippd National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Golf ratings.

The Warriors' spot at No. 9 is the highest in program history after earning 30.41 average weighted points in the composite rankings. Indian Hills is the highest ranked team from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), ahead of No. 17 Iowa Western Community College.

In addition to the program's team rank, five individuals earned a spot in the top-70 of the individual national rankings. Sophomore Joska Nelis (Haarlem, Netherlands/Lyceum Sancta Maria) led the way at No. 31 followed by fellow sophomore Poppy Norcott (Wiltshire, United Kingdom/Hartpury College) at No. 46.

Taylor Pacheco (Chula Vista, CA/Olympian), coming off a strong showing at the Braun Intercollegiate, checked into the national ratings at No. 55 followed by Sofia Saavedra (Barquisimeto, Venezuela/Dawere International) at No. 64 and Veronica Rodriguez (Santiago, Chile/Liceo A-1310 Buin) at No. 68.

Odessa College (TX) held the top overall team rank at No. 1 followed by Seminole State College (FL), Daytona State College (FL), New Mexico Junior College, and Eastern Florida State College.

The Warriors are coming off a runner-up finish at the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville, IN this past week, a field comprised of primarily NCAA DI programs.

Indian Hills closes out its fall schedule with a trip to Broken Arrow, OK October 27-28 for the Tulsa Cup.
