REEVES NAMED ICCAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Mackenzie Reeves (Rogers, AR/Heritage Rogers) of the No. 10 nationally ranked Indian Hills Women's Golf team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Golf Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Reeves posted her best individual finish at a tournament last week after tying for second overall at the WPU Spring Statesmen Shootout at the Edmundson Golf Club in Oskaloosa, IA. The sophomore posted an 8-over, 78 to finish as the tournament's runner-up, just one stroke off the top overall finisher.

Reeves' 78 is tied for her second-best individual round throughout her two-year career with the Warriors. Reeves tallied a pair of birdies on the day – one the par three hole No. 7 and the par five hole No. 18.

Reeves' effort helped the Warriors take the overall team title, the program's second consecutive title and third of the year.

The sophomore is currently ranked No. 76 in the nation in the latest national rankings. Reeves becomes the fourth different individual for the Warriors to earn ICCAC Athlete of hte Week honors this year.
