Ottumwa -- June 14-16 are the dates for this year's Indian Hills volleyball camp. The 6th annual camp, under the direction of IHCC head coach Lyndsey Michel, is for athletes entering grades 4-8 and will be held in the Tom Arnold Net Center on the IHCC Ottumwa campus.

There will be two sessions: one from 9 to 10:30 a.m. for youngsters entering grades 4-6 with a camp fee of $30, and a second session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for those entering grades 7 and 8 with a camp fee of $40.

The camp will teach the basic fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, hitting, blocking and serving. It will provide a solid foundation in skill development and motivation for all athletes. The instruction will be given by coach Michel and her staff as well as current IHCC players.

In addition to the three days of instruction, all camp participants will receive a special t-shirt.
