NO. 16 WARRIORS HANDLE REIVERS AT HOME

Ottumwa, IA – No. 16 Indian Hills Volleyball earned a thrilling sweep over conference foe Iowa Western Community College at the Hellyer Center Tuesday night to run the team's winning streak to 11 matches. The Warriors have now dropped the Reivers in three consecutive meetings.

Indian Hills moves to 11-3 overall on the year to keep its winning streak intact after dropping the Reivers in straight sets, 25-19, 25-22, and 25-23. The Warriors have dropped just four sets during the team's winning streak, outscoring their opponents 33-4.

Sophomore Piper Nelson (Atkins, IA/Benton), this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week, willed the Warriors to victory with a new career-high with 15 kills on the night. Nelson finished the night with a .323 hitting percentage on a team-high 31 attempts. Nelson added nine digs and four service aces in the sweep.
